Eels are divided into freshwater and seawater. There are about 19 species of freshwater eels in the world. They are similar in appearance. They grow up in rivers or freshwater and migrate to the sea only when they lay eggs. Academically speaking, eels refer to creatures within the Muraenesocidae family, but because the public often interprets them as "eels in the sea", the eels in our population have expanded from eels to fish that swim in the sea as long as they look long. But in fact, the eel family is not a narrowly recognized eel in academia.
